BURBANK, Calif., Nov. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- STX Entertainment today announced that Carmen Chang, partner and managing director, Asia (excluding India) for NEA, one of the world's largest and most active venture capital firms, has been elected to STX's Board of Directors.
As NEA's partner and managing director, Chang is focused on building the firm's global organization and portfolio in China and other emerging markets in Asia. Throughout her distinguished career, she has been involved with many of the most important technology transactions and companies in China, including the first foreign investments in China Netcom as well as companies such as Lenovo, Foxconn, Google, Tencent, Netease, CEC, China Mobile and others.
Prior to joining NEA, Chang was a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. A specialist in corporate and securities law, she led the firm's burgeoning practice in China, where she represented major companies, including Google, Apple and Facebook. In addition to her role with NEA, she is an affiliate of the Center for International Security and Cooperation at Stanford University and a fellow for the Rock Center for Corporate Governance, a joint initiative of Stanford Law School and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
