Global X Funds Continues Expansion With Senior Hires
NEW YORK, Oct. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Global X Management Company LLC (Global X), the New York-based provider of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), today announced the appointments of Aaron Dillon as Head of Strategic Relationships, Alex Ashby as Director of Product Development, and Steve Munroe as Director of Media Planning.

Senior Vice President, Head of Strategic Relationships
Mr. Dillon, who was previously Managing Director at KraneShares, will be responsible for driving Global X's business development with institutional investors and will also manage the firm's national accounts efforts. Prior to his time at KraneShares, Aaron was the Head of Mutual Fund & ETF Products at TD Ameritrade. Aaron also served as a Vice President at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in their investment product and managed account teams. He holds a B.A. in Finance from The Ohio State University.
Vice President, Director of Product Development
Mr. Ashby is re-joining Global X after receiving his MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management. From 2010-13, Alex was at Global X, where he was actively involved in research, operations and product development. He managed the launch process for over 20 ETFs and also provided Global X with strategic insights and supporting research for its existing suites of funds. In addition to his MBA from MIT, Alex also holds a B.A. in Economics from Princeton University.
Vice President, Director of Media Planning
Mr. Munroe joins Global X from Liberty Mutual Insurance, where he served as a senior analyst in both the customer marketing and marketing strategy teams for the company's Personal Insurance strategic business unit. Prior to his time at Liberty Mutual, Steve was a consultant at Marketing and Planning Systems, a strategic marketing research and consulting firm, where he led brand tracking and strategic segmentation studies for multiple Fortune 100 clients in the retail and financial services industries. He holds a Master's degree from Kansas State University and a B.A. in Economics from Saint Michael's College.
