FOSTER CITY, Calif., July 11, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- As it celebrates its second top-3 FORTUNE Magazine Best Workplaces ranking in 2019, Conviva, the global streaming analytics leader, announces the addition of Greg Ayers as CFO and Rhonda Walker as CMO.
At the start of 2019, Convivia was ranked #2 Best Workplace in the Bay Area by FORTUNE Magazine and its partner Great Place To Work. This week, the company once again achieved a top ranking, named #3 Best Workplace for Millennials, making it the only one to earn a top 3 on both lists. For the Millennial report rankings, 4.5 million employees nationwide were surveyed about their employee experience. The results were heavily weighted (85%) on key factors like their trust in leadership and ability to achieve their full potential. Included in that were the respect with which people are treated, fairness of workplace decisions, and camaraderie among teams. The balance of the ranking took their daily experiences relative to innovation, company values and leadership effectiveness into consideration.
"This additional top-workplace recognition further highlights how energized our employees are to drive industry standards and enable our customers' success. It also contributes to our ability to attract elite finance and marketing leaders like Greg and Rhonda. They've joined Conviva at a time when employee excitement and business growth are at an all-time high," said Bill Demas, CEO of Conviva.
Both Greg Ayers and Rhonda Walker bring decades of success building technology companies that became market leaders. Greg's career has included finance leadership that led to 8 IPOs and multiple M&A deals, including the $1B acquisition of inContact by NICE Systems. Rhonda has led marketing for tech icons Cisco, Dolby and Intel. She also drove Jasper, the IoT platform, from stealth to market leadership – resulting in its $1.4B acquisition by Cisco.
"We're proud of the culture we've built at Conviva, which is centered on our values of customer first, teamwork, accountability, integrity and innovation," said Lan Nguyen, VP of Global Human Resources and Workplace at Conviva. "These values help us maintain an inclusive, cohesive environment across the globe so we can do great work together, no matter if employees are located in Australia, China, Europe, India or the United States."
