HONG KONG, Sept. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Sources (NASDAQ: GSOL) will be launching its 2016 fall trade show series at Hong Kong's AsiaWorld-Expo from Oct. 11 to 29, 2016. World's largest electronics sourcing event
Global Sources Electronics, the world's largest electronics sourcing trade show, will feature 6,000 booths of the latest electronics from Greater China, Korea and across Asia. A number of unique experience and demo zones, the Startup Launchpad pavilion, and an informative conference program will provide attendees with insights into rapidly accelerating innovation and technologies from across the region.
Running from Oct. 11 to 14, the first phase of Global Sources Electronics includes 3,500 booths and will focus on consumer electronics, security products and electronic components. The second phase, Mobile Electronics, will take place from Oct. 18 to 21 and will showcase the latest smartphones, tablets, wearable devices and mobile accessories.
The show will also feature several Experience Zones where buyers can gain first-hand experience of emerging and rapidly-growing electronics categories including virtual reality, drones, outdoor and sports electronics, sports and health products, wearables and personal electric transporters.

Asia's first Smart Living Pavilion
Smart Living Pavilion is a brand-new pavilion co-located with the Mobile Electronics show covering smart security, energy management, entertainment, and appliances and gadgets. The fast-growing smart home market sector is expected to reach US$121.73 billion by 2022.
In collaboration with Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), the Smart Living Experience Showcase will be a "live" on-site smart home that incorporates advanced automation systems to provide inhabitants with sophisticated monitoring and control over various home devices.

Startup Launchpad will showcase the largest collection of consumer electronics startups in Asia. With 150 booths featuring emerging hardware startups presenting their latest tech products, buyers can discover new products at both phases of the Global Sources Electronics show.
