Global Rallycross Ready To Race At X Games Munich
MUNICH, June 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Global Rallycross will stage two races as a part of X Games Munich this weekend on Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30. The races will serve as Rounds 2 and 3 of the 2013 Global Rallycross season.
Saturday's race will be broadcast live at 9:30 AM ET on ESPN3.com. Additional race action will be shown on ESPN's coverage of X Games Munich between 1:00 - 6:00 PM ET on ABC and 7:00 to 11:00 PM ET on ESPN. Sunday's race will be broadcast live at 11:00 AM ET on ESPN and ESPN3.com.
This weekend's field features international stars like two-time defending Global Rallycross champion Tanner Foust, X Games Brazil gold medalist Scott Speed, and Dave Mirra, the most decorated athlete in X Games history. This weekend will also feature the season debuts of defending European rallycross champion Timur Timerzyanov, three-time Race of Champions winner Mattias Ekstrom, and seven-time Indianapolis 500 competitor Townsend Bell.
