Since EdgeLab was introduced into the hospital market in 1999 as "Labo Serveur", it has become a leading laboratory information management system in Europe with more than 150 licensed laboratories. EdgeLab is connected with more than 1,000 analyzers and interchanges data with all major hospital healthcare software applications. It has a vibrant, easy-to-use Windows graphical interface in addition to a comprehensive range of laboratory functionality.
EdgeLab can be easily configured to meet the business needs of large, diverse, multi-site hospital laboratories, as well as small, single-site hospitals. The Beaumont-sur-Oise Hospital Laboratory will use EdgeLab to process over 180 patient files per day. EdgeLab will be connected to seven analyzers and interface with the Crossway Hospital Information System installed at Beaumont-sur-Oise.
Will Willman, Global Med's Sr. Vice President of Sales and Marketing EU/ME/Asia, commented, "The Beaumont-sur-Oise Hospital Laboratory chose EdgeLab for several reasons: EdgeLab interfaces well with Inlog's EdgeTrack blood bank software (not available in the U.S.) which is already installed in the hospital and it has a wide range of features important to Beaumont-sur-Oise's laboratory operation. In addition, EdgeLab was recommended by other labs in the area, the software is user-friendly, and Beaumont-sur-Oise had a very positive experience with our project managers while installing EdgeTrack."
Mr. Willman continued, "We are proud to have been chosen by Beaumont-sur-Oise Hospital Laboratory to provide them with a state-of-the-art laboratory information solution. We are looking forward to working with their superb team again."
