Global Leader in Musculoskeletal Care Hosts Training Seminar for Greek Surgeons

NEW YORK, Nov. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) will host 16 surgeons from Greece for an annual seminar dedicated to teaching the latest techniques and innovations in complex primary total hip and knee replacement.

Initiated in 2006, the annual HSS Stavros Niarchos Foundation Orthopaedic Seminar Program consists of two days of didactic sessions, case consultations, roundtable discussions, hands-on workshops and operating room observation at HSS.  Moderated by Michael Cross, MD, and Peter K. Sculco, MD, both hip and knee surgeons at HSS, this year's seminar will be held November 28 and 29^th, and will focus on the diagnosis and treatment of complex primary hip and knee replacements.

The following three days will include attendance at the 29^th Annual HSS Holiday Knee & Hip Course, a CME-accredited professional education course.

The program aims to immerse visiting Greek surgeons, with under 10 years of experience, in the high-volume joint replacement environment at HSS.
