Global Investor Services, Inc. Announces the Appointment of Dr. Joseph J. Louro as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

OREM, Utah, June 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Investor Services, Inc. ("Global", OTCBB: GISV) announced that, effective immediately, Dr. Joseph J. Louro will assume the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.  

The Board of Directors of Global unanimously approved this executive appointment and looks forward to supporting Dr. Louro in his efforts to develop and grow the company's business on behalf of the shareholders. The Company has entered into a three-year employment agreement with Dr. Louro.  

Dr. Louro is a successful businessman who possesses the skills and capabilities to guide the company through its development stage and prepare the company for growth. He has successfully operated companies in multiple business sectors and has been involved in educating through lecturing in the education space domestically and internationally.
