Global Hemp Industry Leader Folium Biosciences Brings 150 - 200 Jobs To West Pueblo

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Feb. 25, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Following last month's announcement of their first international facility in Canada, Folium Biosciences announced yet another major expansion: a 110K sq. ft. FDA registered facility in Pueblo, Colorado.

"With our industry rapidly pivoting toward mainstream food and beverage markets, purchasing an FDA registered facility made complete sense," said CEO Kashif Shan. "Five years of experience in this space has led us to identifying the proper partnerships, equipment and systems to execute with efficiency and optimum output."

The extraction and purification facility will house five SFE CO2 extraction skids with a 350 metric ton biomass monthly capacity. A patent pending decarboxylation & terpene collection set-up, high capacity evaporators, filtration skids, and a 50 ton CO2 bulk tank are just some of the many state-of-the-art pieces of auxiliary equipment that will increase the company's output capacity exponentially. Also acquired were 18 refrigerated delivery semi trucks.

Folium Biosciences' unrivaled chromatographic purification process is able to selectively remove the only psychoactive component, Delta 9-THC, from their oil resulting in 0.0% THC products, as certified by the State of Colorado.
