Global Gaming Women to Focus on Leadership at Global Gaming Expo
Events to be held throughout the Expo September 26-29
LAS VEGAS, Sept. 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- For the first time in the history of the American Gaming Association's Global Gaming Expo (G2E), the conference will kick-off with a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring over 20 prominent women who have built careers in the gaming industry. Global Gaming Women (GGW) board members will join women from major suppliers and industry associations for the historic event, which will officially open the preeminent trade show for the gaming-entertainment industry.
GGW is a Las Vegas-based charitable organization designed to deliver educational programs and events that support, inspire and influence the development of women in the gaming and lottery industries. The ceremony begins at 9:50 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center.
GGW launches their week of events and programming with "The Power of You" Educational Track (Pre-Expo Educational Track) held Monday, September 26 from 8:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Sands Expo & Convention Center.
The week of learning begins with Former Homeland Security Advisor Frances Townsend, who will explore key inflection points and how to harness the courage to lead during The Power of Being Fearless at 8:45a.m. for the G2E Monday keynote.
10:00 a.m. -- The day continues with The Power of Your Brand featuring Ann Simmons Nicholson, CEO & president, Simmons Group
11:15 a.m. – The Power of Presentation featuring Jennifer Ehlen, CEO of Prosper Institute and Julia Carcamo, senior marketing leader J. Carcamo & Associates
1:45 p.m. – The Power of Resiliency with Kim Sinatra, Wynn Resorts, executive vice president, general counsel and secretary
2:30 p.m. -- The Power of Persuasion with Jane Bokunewicz, Richard Stockton College, instructor/assistant professor

Kick Up Your Heels
Held Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the North Boulevard Pool inside The Cosmopolitan, Kick Up Your Heels is designed to not only benefit the GGW Charitable Education Fund, which provides scholarships to GGW members, but to present four professional businesswomen with the inaugural Patty Becker Pay It Forward Award.

The Power of Leaning In
The week of learning wraps up on Thursday, September 29 at 9 a.m. with GGW board members, Holly Gagnon, CEO, Chumash Enterprises and Eileen Moore, Caesars Entertainment Corporation, regional vice president, as they moderate a high-energy dynamic Lean In Networking Breakfast. Both men and women can benefit by hearing directly from some fantastic women leaders on strategies they have used to improve their work and personal lives.
