Global Convergence, Inc. (GCI) Appoints Joe Serra to Head Its Interlink and NetLink Business Units

(GCI) a leading worldwide supplier of internetworking products, logistics and services support, today announced that Joe Serra has joined the company as executive vice president and general manager of its Interlink Communication Systems (Value Added Distribution) business and NetLink Technologies, an online SEO order magnet.  

With nearly 25 years of experience within the information technology industry, Serra takes on the position as chief architect for the company's strategic initiatives which include significant growth in its product portfolio and customer base.

Serra's prominent history of success includes numerous leadership roles at Tech Data Corporation where he served as vice president of Networking and High-End Storage Product Marketing, vice president Systems Division, and vice president of its Software and Systems Product Marketing Division.  In these positions, Serra was responsible for business growth and marketing initiatives for networking technologies that ranged from infrastructure hardware and wireless to security and midrange storage solutions.
