Global Compliance Officers Rank LRN as the Leader in Ethics and Compliance Training
Rating of ethics and compliance companies included in CEB's 2013 Training Activities and Training Effectiveness Survey
NEW YORK, Feb. 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- LRN, which for two decades has pioneered strategies and solutions to strengthen corporate culture, legal compliance, and ethical behavior, announced today that it was ranked first on CEB's list of top ethics and compliance training companies.
This ranking, which was included in CEB's 2013 Training Activities and Training Effectiveness Survey, is based on the assessment of 164 chief ethics and compliance officers (CECOs) (or their key deputies) regarding the core features and activities associated with successful corporate compliance and ethics training programs. These critical components include course requirements, course design, training frequency, training spend, and vendor management. CEB's survey data helps companies benchmark their training, improve the efficiencies associated with training spend, and make more informed decisions.
The ranking employed the highly regarded net promoter score (NPS), which essentially measures a customer's loyalty to its provider. LRN, received the highest average score of 8.93, far outpacing the 6.05 overall average score of its competitors. Such a high NPS demonstrates that not only are LRN's customers loyal, but they are more than willing to go above and beyond in recommending LRN as their vendor of choice.
The participating CECOs represent a diverse group of global companies across various industries. Forty-six percent of these organizations have operations in more than 20 countries, while approximately 76 percent of responding organizations employ more than 10,000 individuals.
"Ethics and compliance education is pivotal in a hyper-transparent, hyper-connected world, where the behavior of one employee can literally shake the foundations of a company, yet often employees find little connection between training programs and the core business issues that drive their work day," said Dov Seidman, founder and CEO of LRN. "Our approach to shaping an ethical culture is rooted in close collaboration with our partners to create powerful, relevant peer-learning experiences rooted in actual behaviors. By helping employees understand how to do the right thing across hundreds of different and complex scenarios, our training puts companies in the position to 'out-behave' the competition, and embed principled decision making and sustainable practices into the core of how they do business."
LRN has built a comprehensive online ethics and compliance library across 28 subject matter areas, 53 languages, using proven, behavior changing learning approaches. LRN courses have been taken by 20 million employees over the past 20 years.
