Global Communications Leader Porter Novelli Welcomes Scott Grubin As Chief Talent Officer
NEW YORK, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Reinforcing its commitment to developing leaders at all levels, global public relations leader Porter Novelli today announced that Scott Grubin has joined the company as chief talent officer and partner. In this role he will be responsible for the global acquisition of top talent, and will develop and oversee the agency's programs and policies related to recruitment, retention, professional development, diversity and benefits. He also will be charged with ensuring all of these efforts are aligned with the agency's strategic growth goals. He will report to Porter Novelli's President Anthony Viceroy.

Grubin joins Porter Novelli from Merrill Lynch, where he held various human resources management roles. He was responsible for revitalizing recruitment programs, improving training curricula and developing and implementing a robust manager/employee engagement program. In addition, he managed the roll-out of a comprehensive suite of development and retention programs supporting global talent reviews, annual roundtables for evaluation and promotion processes, and performance management. Trained as an employment attorney, he previously served as in-house counsel for various companies and also worked in private practice.
