Global Capacity Adds 'Wisconsin Independent Network' as New 'One Marketplace' Customer
Strategic Sourcing products enable growth of Wisconsin network provider
CHICAGO, April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Capacity (parent: Capital Growth Systems, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CGSY)), the leading telecommunications information and logistics company, today announced that Wisconsin Independent Network (WIN) has expanded the use of Global Capacity's Strategic Sourcing products for its off-net extensions in the United States. WIN, a "Lattis" customer since 2000, will combine the quotation management capabilities of "Lattis" with the network delivery benefits of "One Marketplace".
Additionally, Global Capacity will expand its use of the WIN fiber network for client sourcing requirements in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois as part of a reciprocal partnership agreement with WIN. This expansion will be enabled by additional investment in the integration of WIN network data into Global Capacity's Knowledge Management technology.
By using Global Capacity's "One Marketplace" solution, WIN will benefit from the sophisticated design solutions offered by "One Marketplace", and will realize cost effective, highly deliverable solutions with scalability and reliability to support WIN's on-going growth in the Upper Midwest. Of particular value to WIN is the "One Marketplace" capability to provide route design flexibility while also lowering access costs. Additionally, both Global Capacity and WIN will gain synergies by providing services to targeted vertical markets, such as healthcare providers, in this geographic area, including underserved rural locations.
"WIN continues to benefit from Global Capacity's excellent responsiveness and reach," according to Scott Hoffmann, Executive Director of Wisconsin Independent Network. "We appreciate their partnership and professionalism, and look forward to working together in the future."
"WIN is a great example of the value 'One Marketplace' offers across the United States for improved logistics capabilities, design and delivery of network services," said Greg Hough, Global Capacity's Chief Technology Officer.
Ted Kunkel, Global Capacity's General Manager for "Lattis", added "Long term customers such as WIN value 'Lattis' because of our ability to deliver tariff based software that is accurate, up to date and gives WIN the needed information to quickly make sound business decisions. By adding the capabilities of 'One Marketplace', WIN now will benefit from a total Global Capacity solution as WIN expands its footprint in the Midwest."
