In this position, Garriepy will play a major role in expanding and enhancing Global Automakers' state advocacy network by working with legislators, governors and their staffs on legislative activities that impact the Association and its member companies.

Garriepy has extensive state policy experience in both the public and private sectors. Before joining Global Automakers, he held state government affairs positions at associations representing toy manufacturers and the leading brands in retail. Previously, he worked for Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in political science.
