Professionals from ten countries recognized in the inaugural GA COMM PRIX Awards
The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management announce the winners of the 2013 Global Alliance COMM PRIX Awards.
The winners of the inaugural Global Alliance COMM PRIX Awards - the 'best of the best' in world public relations and communication management - were announced today.

The COMM PRIX Awards celebrate outstanding national and international public relations and communication management programs and case studies.
Anne Gregory, Chair of the Global Alliance commented: "Our winners demonstrate excellence in professional practice from all parts of the world. Both the programs and case studies will be invaluable teaching resources for the profession as they exemplify the highest standards of practice.
William Murray, Global Alliance Treasurer and President of the Public Relations Society of America, chaired the working group which developed the awards programme.
He added "The awards have attracted a wide array of entrants from across the world. COMM PRIX offers another level of credibility and recognition, rewarding those who have reached the very highest levels of professional achievement worldwide."
Mark Schumann, Global Alliance Board Member and Marketing and Communications Vice President at Western Connecticut Health Network, led the awards judging panel, an elite group of international public relations professionals and academics.
He said: "The winners come from ten countries and are the first to be recognized at a global level. Thanks to their outstanding contribution to the growth of the profession's body of knowledge, they are now part of the legacy of the public relations and communication management profession"
Winners will be presented with their awards in their home country during the coming weeks by Global Alliance and national association representatives. They will also be invited to present their work at the World Public Relations Forum 2014 which will be held in Madrid.
