Meet glispa's newest team members:
Nicole DeMeo: Nicole joins glispa as Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to joining glispa, she was a marketing strategist and brand ambassador for industry leaders including Steve Jobs, Eric Schmidt and Carly Fiorina. Nicole has worked with some of the most innovative companies of our time, from The Fortune 500 (e.g. Apple, Accenture), to over 60 start-ups (e.g. EyeEm, When.com, Scoreloop and 4 of her own). For more than 20 years Nicole has guided companies through multiple phases of their business lifecycles providing global go-to-market strategies. She speaks worldwide and is based in our San Francisco office.
Samantha Turner: Joining us as the Director of Media Services, Samantha brings more than five years of digital platform expertise across mobile, display, SEM, social and programmatic. Previously, she worked at Amobee and M&C Saatchi Mobile with clients including Microsoft, The Wall Street Journal and Zoopla. Samantha brings a wealth of mobile advertising knowledge to glispa as she and her team partner with top global advertisers and agencies to help them drive users to action.
Lichi Wu: As our Senior Director of Business Development for glispa's gNative division, Lichi has more than 10 years of experience working in the mobile and online advertising industry with a focus on the APAC markets. He built and led Millennial Media's APAC publisher business. Under his leadership, Lichi's team grew Millennia's APAC impressions by 150 times to 15 billion per month. He was also an initial member of Google APAC and AdMob in Singapore. Lichi is a regular speaker at conferences in Southeast Asia, discussing a range of topics about mobile advertising.
Melissa Bohlsen: Melissa joined glispa as the Associate Director of Marketing and Communications. Prior to joining glispa, she was the team lead of Marketing and Communications at BIG Social Media GmbH (formally Business Intelligence Group) in Berlin. Melissa also lived and worked in London as a Senior Marketing Manager for various print and online titles working with brands like Vans, Levis, Universal, Sony and Diageo (as well as artistic institutions like the Serpentine Gallery.) Melissa has more than eight years of experience in marketing and public relations and is helping glispa build its brand on a global scale.
Ashwin Shekhar: Ashwin joins glispa GmbH as Associate Director Business Development. Ashwin brings over four years of focus and strong expertise in mobile marketing and digital advertising. Prior to joining glispa, Ashwin worked for InMobi as their sales and key account manager, and at Infosys Ltd. as their senior associate consultant. Ashwin is helping us with our continued, rapid growth in India.
