ABOUT GLADYS LEON BLOODWORTH
Ms. Bloodworth has had more than 40 years of experience in education. She is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher. Ms. Bloodworth currently teaches elementary core curriculum to students in grades three to ten at the Ambler Avenue Gifted Magnet Elementary School in Los Angeles. She utilizes traditional hands-on teaching methods including music, art, manners and etiquette as well as theatre exposure to embellish teaching methodologies. Ms. Bloodworth received a B.A. in Elementary Education and English, from Southern University in Louisiana, in 1968. She is a member of the National Education Association, United Teachers Los Angeles, Kappa Kappa Iota and Women in Educational Leadership. Ms. Bloodworth currently resides in Carson, California, where she enjoys camping, reading and church activities.
