NEW YORK, April 1, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- After 35 years as a counselor in financial planning and over a decade in the special needs planning space, Bruce Maier joined Iron Birch Advisors as their Director of Special Needs Planning.
Most financial advisors in the business for just a few years have most likely come across families who are in need for someone like Bruce. The more concerning issue, as Bruce described, are the families out there who have such a need, but do not come forward, even when asked the question if there is a need.

Bruce was inspired to help those in need by his daughter whose background is in Special Education and currently works as a teacher with special needs families.
Bruce and his department define one with special needs as someone who may not be financially independent today or in the future.
