Gina Ormand Joins MWW As Vice President, Corporate Affairs
Ormand Brings Experience as a Campaign Services Director for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and Senior Campaign Roles for Hillary Clinton's 2008 Presidential Campaign and Al Gore's Alliance for Climate Protection
NEW YORK, Feb. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MWW (www.mww.com), one of the top-ten global independent public relations firms, announced today that Gina Ormand has joined the firm as a vice president in its corporate affairs practice. Ormand joins MWW from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee where she served as Campaign Services Director. In her new role at MWW, Ormand will help develop and lead influencer strategies for a number of MWW clients. She will report directly to MWW president and CEO Michael W. Kempner.

Previously, Ormand acted as Director of Major Gifts for former Vice President Al Gore's Alliance for Climate Protection, a non-profit founded aiming to educate the world about the urgency of the climate crisis. Additionally, she served as a regional political director for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during her 2008 Presidential campaign. Ormand has also served a variety of functions for Senators Mary L. Landrieu (D-LA) and Jon Tester (D-MT) on Capitol Hill.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Tulane University.
