SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Gigster, a smart software development service that combines top developers and designers with automation tools, continues its growth with a key appointment to its management team. Today, the company announced that it has named Greg Enriquez, former CEO of cyber-security company TrapX Security and a seasoned sales executive, as senior vice president of sales.
In this position, Enriquez will play a strategic leadership role in the company, developing Gigster's sales and marketing teams and continuing to build its go-to-market strategy. He will also oversee efforts to add more sophisticated capabilities to the Gigster platform that will support and provide solutions to enterprise-class customers. Enriquez brings more than 30 years of experience in leadership roles across enterprise, security and software sales. Prior to his role at TrapX Security, he led worldwide sales, services, business development and marketing teams at FireEye, Mandiant, Symantec, IBM and Stratus Technologies.
"Today's enterprises need deep expertise in the latest technologies to keep up with market needs and outpace the competition, and they turn to us because we can provide an entire engineering department experienced in new technologies at a moment's notice," said Roger Dickey, co-founder and CEO of Gigster. "Greg not only understands this complex landscape, but is able to identify which technologies will be most critical for enterprises to succeed in the long run. His technical and results-oriented practice combined with a track record of building cohesive teams aligned around customer vision and values will be an invaluable asset to Gigster and our growing customer base."
Gigster is reinventing custom software development by pairing a network of the best developers in the world with a project management layer that guarantees price and quality and automation tools to ensure efficiency and reliability. The company currently counts more than 40 of the world's largest companies as clients across verticals including financial services, travel and hospitality, manufacturing and consumer. Enriquez will focus on expanding Gigster's ability to serve enterprise and mid-market clients and introducing the unique platform to the broader market.
"I couldn't be more excited to join a company taking such a fresh and disruptive approach to tackling the $140 billion custom application development market," said Greg Enriquez, senior vice president of sales. "Gigster has seen tremendous growth in the enterprise market, due mostly to word of mouth. I'm looking forward to taking the Gigster model to corporate America to help enterprises achieve digital transformation and continue this incredible momentum Roger and the team have already created."
