Gigamon Appoints Industry Veteran Claudio Perugini New Eastern Region Sales Lead
SILICON VALLEY, Calif., Oct. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Gigamon®, the world leader in Traffic Visibility Networking solutions, announced today that Networking industry veteran Claudio Perugini has joined the company as Area Vice President of Eastern Region Sales, which includes the Eastern United States and all Canada provinces. Perugini will define and lead Gigamon's sales and customer engagement strategy for the Eastern Region of North America, including directly managing all Regional Sales Managers and Directors.

Prior to joining Gigamon, Perugini worked at Fluke Networks for 27 years where he held numerous roles in the sales division including Regional Sales Director of the Eastern Region. In this role, Perugini was responsible for leading the East coast team across multiple business segments – Cable Test, Portable Network Analysis and Distributed Network Analysis. His accomplishments at Fluke include leading the highest producing region per sales person for the last fourteen years, driving rapid revenue growth in the Northeast Region during one of the toughest economic climates in recent history and exceeding growth targets year-over-year for fifteen years running. In addition, he was instrumental in securing FNET approval by the cable and network connector manufacturers' certification process, which opened the door for DSP cable test sales.
