GiftCards.com Integrates Create A Card into iPhone App

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Today GiftCards.com, the leading internet site for Visa gift cards, and discounted gift cards, announced a new feature for their iPhone application.  This version of the application allows customers to take a photo or use an existing photo on their iPhone and create a gift card out of it, right from their phone.  "We are excited about this new feature of our iPhone app.  It provides our customers the ability to use their iPhone to snap a picture and then convert that picture into a plastic Visa gift card with value loaded," stated Jason Wolfe, CEO of GiftCards.com.

The iPhone application also works with merchant gift cards.  Customers can use the application to view all of the discounted gift cards for sale on the GiftCards.com website.  Customers looking to get cash for unwanted gift cards can use the Swapagift Location feature.  This feature uses the zip code and GPS to locate an agent location that can redeem merchant gift cards for cash on the spot. Coming soon is the ability to tie coupons from our sister site MyCoupons.com into the iPhone app.
