Gibson Smith Joins CamberView Partners as a Partner

SAN FRANCISCO and NEW YORK, April 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CamberView Partners, LLC, the leading source of independent, investor-led advice for public companies on shareholder activism and investor engagement, is pleased to announce that Gibson Smith, a former Managing Director at Citigroup, has joined the firm as a Partner.

Before joining CamberView, Mr. Smith was a Managing Director at Citigroup. In that role, he co-founded the Private Company Access Group which was responsible for advising innovative growth companies on business and capital development strategies.  Prior to this assignment, he ran Citi's North American Corporate Access Group, one of the largest of such groups on Wall Street. In this role, Mr. Smith and his team advised Fortune 1000 companies on investor targeting strategies and executed thousands of investor meetings annually. Earlier in his career, Mr. Smith worked as an Institutional Equity Salesperson at Citi and Goldman Sachs and in retail branch management and business banking at Wachovia Bank (now Wells Fargo).  

Mr. Smith holds an M.B.A. and a bachelor's degree in history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He earned his CFA designation in 2001.
