Product recalled due to the possibility of being contaminated with Salmonella
LANDOVER, Md., Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Giant Food of Landover, Md. is alerting customers to a voluntary recall by Boar's Head of its Boar's Head Salame Panino, 8 oz. because of possible concerns about salmonella. Upon learning of the recall, Giant immediately removed the products from sale.
Giant removed from sale the following product:
- Boar's Head Salame Panino 8 oz. UPC 0-0424211607-1
To date, Giant has received no reports of illness due to consumption of this product. Customers who have purchased the affected product should discard any unused portions and bring their purchase receipt to Giant for a full refund.
