GIACT Names Robert McAlear Executive Vice President, Marketing and Product Strategy; Holly Merrill Chief Compliance Officer

DALLAS, Oct. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- GIACT Systems, the leader in providing real-time data for payment risk analysis, has promoted Robert McAlear and Holly Merrill to new roles within the company.  McAlear, named executive vice president, marketing and product strategy, will be focused on identifying customers' payment-risk needs and translating them into new products and solutions.  Merrill, named chief compliance officer, is responsible for developing, implementing, and administrating GIACT's compliance program.

McAlear has more than 20 years of experience in global payments and fraud prevention.  Originally hired to help develop GIACT's sales organization, McAlear will now be responsible for the company's marketing, messaging, and product development.  Prior to joining GIACT he held senior management positions with Chase Paymentech, Vantiv, and Accertify.  McAlear will represent GIACT as it introduces its new mobile solution at Money20/20, October 25-28 in Las Vegas.

Merrill is an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) and former director on the national boards and executive committees of both NACHA and NOCH.  She will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and best practices for implementing and monitoring compliance-oriented controls and risk management procedures.  Prior to joining GIACT, Merrill held senior leadership positions with BillingTree, a regional payments association, and a private ACH operator.
