GHX Recognizes Customers Among 2012 Healthcare Supply Chain Top 25 Organizations
Leading analyst firm list identifies top medical-surgical suppliers and healthcare providers - 90 percent of leaders work with GHX
LOUISVILLE, Colo., Dec. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sixteen of the 18 medical-surgical suppliers and healthcare providers ranked in the Gartner Healthcare Supply Chain Top 25 for 2012 are working with GHX to create a faster, more efficient and more accurate healthcare supply chain in order to improve quality, drive down costs and contribute to improved patient outcomes. The number represents nearly 90 percent of the medical-surgical suppliers and providers recognized by Gartner in the Top 25 ranking.
Healthcare organizations are chosen for inclusion on the annual list based on quantitative analysis across publicly available metrics as well as a qualitative assessment based on a poll of leading industry experts and Gartner analysts. Gartner said the goal of its research is to identify organizations that use their supply chains to improve the quality and cost of healthcare.
