As Senior Vice President of Science and Technology at Yahoo!, Rossiter is responsible for Yahoo's company-wide engineering and research technology agenda and the delivery of Yahoo's developer, identity, cloud and big data platforms that power Yahoo's business. Previously, Rossiter was Vice President of System Management Products at Oracle and was responsible for the delivery of the Oracle9i database. He has held leadership positions at 3Com, Syntelligence, and Bell Laboratories.
Jay is currently a board member at Hortonworks and, was, until its recent sale, on the board of QLogic. He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from SUNY Binghamton and a master's degree in Computer, Information and Control Engineering from the University of Michigan.
