New Agreement Calls for Over-the-Air and Local Cable Carriage in 20 Markets
CULVER CITY, Calif., Feb. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Sony Pictures Television's classic TV channel getTV has signed a distribution agreement with Media General, Inc. ("Media General") for both over-the-air and local cable carriage in 20 new markets. Media General will begin rolling out getTV beginning today, Feb. 1. With the addition of Media General's affiliates, getTV has local deals in place in 87 markets, 47 of which are in the top 50 DMAs, including new adds in Indianapolis, Grand Rapids and Harrisburg.

getTV announced in December that in addition to agreements with broadcasters it was taking the network national for the first time through its deal with sat-caster, DISH. The channel is now live on DISH channel 373.
The agreement includes carriage on the following Media General stations: KRON in San Francisco, CA; KOIN in Portland, OR; WISH in Indianapolis, IN; WYCW in Spartanburg, SC; WOTV in Grand Rapids, MI; WAVY in Norfolk, VA; WHTM in Harrisburg, PA; KRQE in Albuquerque, NM; WPRI in Providence, RI; WRIC in Richmond, VA; WTEN in Albany, NY; WATE in Knoxville, TN; KHON in Honolulu, HI; WSLS in Roanoke, VA; WNCT in Greenville, NC; WLNS in Lansing, MI; WYFX in Youngstown, OH; KLFY in Lafayette, LA; KTKA in Topeka, KS and WLFI in Lafayette, IN.
