Get Real USA, Inc. to Earn Thirty Percent of Gross Revenues from Global Distribution of Award-Winning Comedy Film, "Tied in Knots"
Get Real USA, Inc. (GTRL.PK) just signed a distribution deal with the producers of the award-winning comedy film, "Tied in Knots" that will earn GTRL thirty percent of the worldwide gross for the film; this is in addition to their earnings for producing the soundtrack for this film.
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., May 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Get Real USA, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GTRL) announced today that it has signed a movie distribution agreement with the producers of the award-winning international comedy film, "Tied in Knots."
Under this agreement Get Real USA will earn thirty-percent of gross revenues generated from the global distribution of this film. This is in addition to revenues the Company will earn from the previously announced soundtrack production project for this same film.
This distribution agreement provides opportunity for GTRL to earn from both physical and digital sales. Get Real USA feels a realistic gross revenue projection for International DVD sales alone could reach $2,000,000. And the Company expects revenues for this new project will be recognized in its 2012 fiscal year.
Mr. Khalil Kain, President of Get Real USA said, "We're excited about the opportunity to spearhead the global distribution of this movie. Our plan is to coordinate with leading entertainment marketing and distribution firms to ensure maximum exposure internationally, especially in the burgeoning Asian markets."
"Earlier in the year we were asked to produce the soundtrack for "Tied in Knots". So it's particularly gratifying to be asked to take on an additional role in helping to make this film hugely profitable."
The film industry has seen a huge increase in Asian movie distribution opportunities. Box-office receipts in China, for example, totaled $1.57 billion in 2010, up 64 percent from 2009. This upward trend continued in 2011 with foreign films drawing 44 percent of all receipts last year.
