Get Ready to Hunt, Roll and Toss Eggs at the College Station Easter Celebration at the Bush Library and Museum
COLLEGE STATION, Texas, April 3, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Brazos Valley community is invited to roll eggs, play games and meet the Easter Bunny at the College Station Easter Celebration April 12 at the George Bush Presidential Library Center at Texas A&M University.
The Easter Celebration is organized by the College Station Police Department, hosted by the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum and presented in partnership with Candy 95, Newstalk 1620 WTAW and Peace 107.
The event is designed for children ages 7 and under and will include games, face painting, an Easter egg hunt, egg roll, egg toss, complimentary refreshments, photos with the Easter Bunny and a kite flying contest.
Specially designed wooden White House-style Easter eggs are given to the children. Local merchants contribute prizes to give away in golden eggs scattered throughout the egg hunt fields.
The CSPD will give away a boy's and a girl's bicycle and helmet in each of the three age categories: 3 and under, 4-5 and 6-7. Parents must register their children and be present to win.

*Note: Registration is not required to attend and participate in the Easter Celebration, only if you wish your child to be eligible for the door prizes.
Barbara Bush Drive will be closed to traffic before and during the event. Participants should access the museum via Research Drive, Discovery Drive or John Kimbrough Blvd. Parking will be available in the museum parking lot (PA 41 and PA 43) and Bush School lot (PA 111). Handicapped parking will be available in the museum parking lot (PA 41).
