IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Fall is the best time for planting, so let's get things growing! Planting a backyard orchard or growing your own vegetables is easy with the help of the Great Park Fall Garden Workshops. Come learn about growing a sustainable home garden at the Orange County Great Park Farm & Food Lab beginning Saturday, September 18th.
The workshops, organized by the University of California Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners of Orange County, will include: "Just in Time for Fall – Cool Food," "Native Plants in the Home Garden," "Backyard Orchards," "Family Gardening," and "Composting." The workshops are free to the public and run through November 6th, from 10 a.m. to Noon. Check www.ocgp.org for workshop topics and dates.
