Try these two specific workouts to help you train like an athlete including:
Game Day Play – This workout will test your upper body's gridiron grit! These exercises challenge the upper body muscles' endurance and strength. The workout pairs opposite muscles in the upper body, so you can go through these exercises quickly with minimal rest. Since you'll be doing these exercises back-to-back with no rest, it'll raise the heart rate helping burn some extra calories.
Halftime Grind – Are you ready to go for four quarters? This workout uses body weight agility and quickness exercises to build up cardio strength and test body control. This cardio dominant workout will keep the heart rate elevated after the workout ends to keep burning calories well into halftime. The best part is you'll only need a little bit of space and a medicine ball to do this workout.
