Get a first look at the world's only HD infrared camera with Fluke Connect at Rockwell Automation Fair
Fluke TiX Expert Series Infrared Cameras and Fluke Connect Wireless app enable teams to take highly accurate and detailed thermal images and share them with the entire team to ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency
EVERETT, Wash., Nov. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Fluke Corporation will demonstrate the power of high-definition infrared thermography at Rockwell Automation Fair, November 19-20 at the Anaheim Convention Center. This will be the first public look at the new TiX Expert Series Infrared Cameras — including Fluke's first high-definition infrared camera: the TiX1000 — which when combined with Fluke Connect™ capability enables teams to automatically collect, record, and share thermal images and data in the field, helping teams maximize the efficiency and reliability of equipment throughout the plant.
TiX Infrared Cameras — TiX1000 (with 1024 x 768 resolution), TiX660, and TiX640 (both 640 x 480) — feature up to ten times the on-camera pixels as are available on standard 320 x 240 cameras and a large 5.6-inch articulating display to help quickly identify issues while still in the field. TiX infrared cameras deliver highly detailed image quality, the most advanced focusing options available on one infrared camera, and the versatility to capture accurate measurements from targets that are challenging, dangerous, or moving too fast. The SuperResolution mode reveals HD quality in the TiX1000 images with 3.1 million pixels to better identify potential issues that might have been missed with other infrared cameras. With eight lens options (two telephoto, two wide angle, three macro, and one standard), the TiX Series can capture images from very close up to long range to meet a wide variety of applications.
The Fluke Connect™ system is the world's largest portfolio of connected tools with more than 20 tools that can connect to the Fluke Connect wireless app, including digital multimeters, infrared cameras, insulation testers, process meters, and specific voltage, current and temperature models. It allows technicians to wirelessly transmit measurement data and infrared images from their test tools to their smart phones and tablets for secure storage on the cloud and universal team access from the field. With Fluke Connect, teams can easily access past measurement data and infrared inspections on the go and look at trends over time to make faster, more informed decisions, collaborate with colleagues no matter where they are, and get approvals for repairs while still in the field.
The Fluke Connect app can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
