LAS VEGAS, June 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Experience Specialists (GES), a leading global event marketing company, announced record-setting acknowledgment of its campaigns, its people and its capabilities by leading organizations and marketing and events publications.
GES was recognized by the American Business Awards, the nation's premier business awards program, for two projects, Dermablend's Zombie Boy Wedding campaign and its own Art and Science of Engagement campaign. GES' Art and Science of Engagement campaign was recognized with a Silver Stevie Award in the Marketing Campaign of the Year – Corporate Reputation/Professional Services category.
Commenting on the Gold Stevie Award, GES Executive Creative Director Frank Laudo said, "Advertising great David Ogilvy once said, 'What really motivates consumers to buy or not to buy is the content of your advertising, not its form.' It is that essential premise that speaks to how with a very modest budget, a big idea carried the day and elevated our Dermablend client's brand to record-breaking success at the American Academy of Dermatology show. It is a distinct honor to have created this campaign that yielded tremendous results for our client and to have that success validated by a jury of our peers."
GES employees have also been recognized for their contributions. GES President Steve Moster was named to the Expo Elite, which celebrates individuals who are pushing their companies and the industry forward by successfully integrating innovation into every phase of their operations. Raleigh Kung, GES global web master, was recognized with a next generation Rising Star Award by EXPO. The award honors individuals aged 30 and under who have had a major impact in their field and have "produced growth, created new events and experiences, and smashed their target goals, all while going above and beyond what was asked of them."

GES was also recognized by Event Marketer magazines as one of the "Fab 50," which honors the best exhibit fabricators in the U.S. In listing GES among the "Fab 50," Event Marketer stated "…Although about 47 of the companies on the Fab 50 won't admit it… there's a certain type of program—size, budget, global schedule—that only a company like GES can handle. Backed by the financial stability of owner Viad and focused on a continued push to evolve the capabilities… we continue to be impressed with the vision."
"Our energized team truly enjoys offering our new services and bringing together art and science to deliver what clients need to create lasting engagement, and these awards are a testament to the fact that it is working," said GES President Steve Moster. "We are honored to be recognized by such impressive and diverse organizations."
