Gerstman and Schwartz Complete Trump Presidential Poll
ROSLYN, N.Y., Nov. 24, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Brad Gerstman and David Schwartz, founding partners of Gotham Government Relations, have completed the first phase of their newest website ShouldTrumpRun.com. With over 130,000 visitors in one week and about 30,000 participants in their Trump poll, the results are overwhelmingly favorable to Trumps chances in the 2012 presidential election.
Gerstman and Schwartz polled 29,095 as to the question, "Should Trump enter the 2012 presidential race"? The respondents voted by a margin of 67% to 33% in favor of Trump entering the race. The next poll asked 29,567 respondents whether they would vote for Donald Trump in 2012. The respondents voted by a margin of 66% to 34% that they would vote for Donald Trump for president.
The website started by Gerstman and Schwartz along with pharmaceutical distributor Stewart Rahr and Trump executive Michael Cohen picked up a lot of steam after Donald Trump commented on it during a Good Morning America interview. "We are overwhelmed by the massive response from citizens all over this country and they have made their opinions clear that they want a moderate in the White House that is successful in business to clean up the mess in Washington and Donald Trump is the person to do this," said Schwartz.
"Our firm is very proud of the fact that we were able to design and implement this site within 48 hours of the idea and that within one week we completed our poll with almost 30,000 voters, really incredible and it shows that we can accomplish anything with determination," said Gerstman.
Although the initial poll is completed, the website continues to add thousands of visitors every hour and many others are signing up to volunteer for the movement and eventually a campaign for president. "People are volunteering for this movement hand over fist and we are also in the process of conducting a series of focus groups which we do regularly at Gotham," said Schwartz.
