FEASTERVILLE, Pa., April 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Executive Vice President (EVP) Chuck Hertzler and District 11 Area District Vice President (ADVP) Nick Marra jointly announced today that Gerald Solarski has been promoted to marketing company president (MCP) of UHC of North Philadelphia (Co. 812).

Solarski began his U-Haul career in February 2008 as an area field manager (AFM) for U-Haul Company of Southern New Jersey (Co. 813). Solarski served as AFM for more than three years before his recent promotion. Today, Solarski will oversee all operations of UHC of North Philadelphia, including truck, trailer and storage rentals. With his hard drive for achievement and proven leadership skills, he certainly will drive Team 812 to success.

He is excited about already having a great team in place and believes that by implementing company policies, procedures, and proper execution of programs, he and his team will be able to increase profits while keeping expenses down. Solarski plans on striving to take UHC of North Philadelphia to the next level of success and is looking forward to getting the U-Box Program fully up and running, as he believes U-Box will be a great service for his customers.
