Georgia-Pacific, Dairyman's Supply Company to Continue Engineered Wood Products Relationship
ATLANTA, March 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Georgia-Pacific Wood Products and Dairyman's Supply Company have announced they will continue their manufacturer-distributor relationship for engineered wood products (EWP).
Under the agreement, Dairyman's will continue to supply dealers with a complete line of Georgia-Pacific engineered wood products, including Wood I Beam™ joists, GP Lam® laminated veneer lumber (LVL), Fiberstrong® rim board and laminated beams. Previously, Dairyman's had distributed Georgia-Pacific's line of Broadspan® engineered wood products, a line that was discontinued on February 13.
"Georgia-Pacific has been one of our key suppliers for a number of years and has played a vital role in the success of our engineered wood business," said Greg Cook, vice president and chief operating officer of Dairyman's Supply Company. These products will be available out of Dairyman's distribution centers in Mayfield, Ky., and Gadsden, Ala. Dealers served from these branches will be able to buy full units of material or job lot quantities.
