Georgia Mission of Mercy Provides Dental Care to Thousands in Need

Georgia dentists from across the state will donate their time and expertise to provide dental care to thousands of adults in need through the Georgia Mission of Mercy (GMOM) project, an outreach program of the Georgia Dental Association and its Foundation for Oral Health. Basic dental services will be offered to low- and no-income adults including cleanings, fillings and extractions. GMOM's free, 100-chair portable dental clinic will be at the Georgia National Fairgrounds on June 19-20, 2015, doors opening at 5 a.m. on both days. Patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis with about 1,000 patients seen per day. The event will take place at Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter, McGill Marketplace Building, 401 Larry Walker Pkwy, Perry, GA 31069.
