Georgia Dental Association Announces New Hires
Association Expands Dental Health Education and Advocacy Efforts
ATLANTA, Dec. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Georgia Dental Association (GDA) announced the addition of three new staff members to further expand the association's dental health education and advocacy efforts in Georgia. The staff additions follow the appointment of Frank J. Capaldo in March as executive director of the leading statewide association representing more than 3,300 dentists.

Under Capaldo's leadership, the association will intensify dental health education, advocacy and public health efforts. The three new professionals bring expertise in government affairs, health policy and marketing communications to the GDA:
- Carol Galbreath, APR is GDA senior director of marketing and public relations where she oversees the association's integrated marketing communications program including public relations, marketing and corporate communications. Previously, she was senior director of marketing and communications at the Arthritis Foundation national office where she designed and led strategic marketing communications programs.
- Fatimot Ladipo is GDA director of government affairs where she oversees the day-to-day management of all governmental affairs activities, including lobbying of governmental officials and educating association members about the association's legislative activities. Prior to joining the GDA, Fatimot served as assistant director of federal relations at Georgia Institute of Technology, where she worked to promote the Institute's strategic vision and goals as they pertained to federal research and education programs and policies.
- Stephanie Lotti is GDA director of professional member services where she oversees Medicaid, PeachCare, and third-party insurance issues as well as practice management. Prior to joining the GDA she was the director of data and public policy for Georgia's Brain and Spinal Injury Trust Fund Commission, where she developed and implemented the agency's legislative agenda and managed data and research projects.
