Georgia Cyber Academy Wins Grant for Outstanding Parental Engagement

ATLANTA, March 14, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Georgia Cyber Academy (GCA), a full-time, tuition-free, online public school, has won a $1,500 Community Leadership Alliance Challenge grant from the Georgia Parent Teacher Organization (GAPTO). GAPTO is a division of the Georgia Charter Schools Association (GCSA). GCA received the grant as a result of the school's robust parental engagement and its active, enthusiastic PTSO. Funds will be used for computers, events, leadership and development scholarships and teacher/student incentives in support of the school's mission to help every Georgia child have access to a quality education.
