Georgia Aquarium Chooses Satisfi Labs to Build New Conversational AI Platform
Conversational AI Platform Developer Continues to Expand Work in Zoos & Aquariums
ATLANTA, Sept. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Satisfi Labs announced today Georgia Aquarium has chosen them to develop an artificial intelligence-based Answer Engine to enhance services and engagement between the aquarium and visitors. The platform will launch by the end of 2018 on the Aquarium's website, Facebook Messenger, and through an Alexa Flash Briefing.
The new AI platform will act as a 24-hour automated, virtual employee providing all visitors with information about the exhibits and venue in an engaging manner. Satisfi Labs worked with the staff at the Aquarium to carefully create a persona that matches the conversation platform with the voice of the Aquarium. Answers are automatically based on data feeds, employee knowledge and customer-generated content. An Alexa Flash Briefing will allow the Aquarium to supply exclusive and unique content via Alexa-powered devices to their members and visitors of the facility as well.
"Location-based artificial intelligence is a key driver for enhancing customer engagement while also providing companies with valuable data that can assist them in building successful marketing strategies to further experiences at any given location or event," said Don White, CEO and Co-Founder of Satisfi Labs. "We are thrilled to begin work with Georgia Aquarium on this Answer Engine and help them create fun and innovative ways to communicate with their visitors while learning more about what they want and how they can further improve the aquarium."
"We are always looking for ways to enhance our guests' experience from before they visit the Aquarium to after they've left," said Anthony Rivera, vice president of hospitality and guest experience at Georgia Aquarium. "This is just another way for us to add to our customer services and ensure that guests receive the information they need."
Satisfi Labs has been expanding into the sports, retail, zoos, aquariums, and museums sector with recent platform launches at Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies & Attractions, the Maritime Aquarium, the Roger Williams Parks Zoo, Riverbanks Zoo, San Antonio Zoo, Seattle Aquarium, and the Woodland Park Zoo. They have seen over 70,000 unique users across their zoo and aquarium platforms in 2018 so far. Georgia Aquarium will be the latest venue in this industry to partner with Satisfi on bringing AI technology into their marketing strategy.
