George Peabody Joins Glenbrook Partners

MENLO PARK, Calif., March 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Glenbrook Partners, a leading payments consulting, education, and research firm, announced today that George Peabody has joined the firm as a Senior Director. As a respected thought leader in payment innovation, he strengthens Glenbrook's strategy practice with in-depth understanding of emerging and mobile commerce, as well as security and authentication technologies.

Before joining Glenbrook, George directed Mercator Advisory Group's emerging technologies advisory service. His research there focused on mobile payments acceptance, POS device evolution, and data security in eCommerce and point of sale transactions.

Earlier, as Vice President of Aberdeen Group's telecommunications research, George led a team of 20 providing research and consulting services to large Internet infrastructure firms in the networking, mobile, and data center sectors including Cisco, Ciena, Lucent, and others. His entrepreneurial experience also includes co-founder roles at payment identity firm Payment Pathways, Internet service provider RapidNet, and business aviation online training firm DigiFlite.
