Geoforce Welcomes New Senior Vice President Of Sales
DALLAS, July 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Geoforce, Inc., a global leader in equipment track and trace and asset utilization solutions for the oil and gas industry, announced the appointment, effective today, of Richard Coffman as Senior Vice President of Sales.
Mr. Coffman brings to Geoforce more than twenty-five years of successful enterprise sales and sales management experience in a variety of organizations including start-up, rapid growth and Fortune 500 companies. He has started, led or contributed to high growth teams that have evolved from inception to over $100 million in annual revenue.
Prior to Geoforce, Richard served as VP of Sales leading the Federal group at AccessData. There he was responsible for the sales and marketing of the company's cybersecurity, eDiscovery/litigation support and forensics portfolio to the federal sector, leading a forty-five percent year over year growth within the group. Earlier in his career, Richard was responsible for the enterprise software sales efforts of StoredIQ (acquired by IBM Corporation) and Kazeon (acquired by EMC Corporation), which resulted in new relationships with Cameron, Hess, Transocean, EOG, Weatherford and many others in the oil & gas industry. Prior to that Richard led high growth teams at BMC Software, IBM Corporation and Bindview (acquired by Symantec).
Based out of Geoforce's headquarters in Coppell, Texas, Mr. Coffman will have overall responsibility for the company's worldwide sales organization, including its sales teams in the United States, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and Australia.
