Geoff Robinson Appointed Vice President of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., April 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA LLC today announced that Geoff Robinson, Vice President of Marketing and Chief Digital Officer, has been appointed Vice President of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, effective May 1, 2016. In this role, Robinson will be responsible for financing and leasing-related sales, marketing and dealer relations activities of Mercedes-Benz and smart products in the U.S. He will also become a member of the company's Americas region executive leadership team.
Robinson succeeds Brian Fulton, who will take on a new assignment as President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Canada, Inc., and will be based in the company's regional headquarters in Farmington Hills, Mich.

In his previous role, Robinson was responsible for defining and executing marketing and communications strategies for Mercedes-Benz Financial Services' U.S. market. As the Chief Digital Officer, Robinson has led formation of the company's Digital Transformation Office, a team dedicated to accelerating the company's vision of providing a first-class digital experience for dealers and customers.

Robinson joined the company in 1990 as an Area Manager for Mercedes-Benz Finance in the U.K. Since then, he has held several roles of increasing responsibility in both the U.S. and the U.K., including: Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Remarketing for Daimler Truck Financial (U.S.); Managing Director of Daimler Fleet Management in the U.K.; and General Manager of Sales for Daimler Financial Services in the U.K.
