Genworth Financial Prices $400 Million Debt Offering
RICHMOND, Va., June 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Genworth Financial, Inc. (NYSE: GNW) today announced that it has priced a public offering of ten-year senior notes in an aggregate principal amount of $400 million and with an interest rate of 7.700 percent per year. Genworth intends to use $200 million of the net proceeds from this offering to repay $100 million of outstanding borrowings under each of its five-year revolving credit facilities and the remainder for general corporate purposes.
Banc of America Securities LLC, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Goldman, Sachs & Co. and UBS Securities LLC are joint book-running managers for this offering, which is expected to close on June 24, 2010.
