Genvid Technologies Debuts First Public Demo of Interactive Streaming Technology for eSports Broadcasts at CES 2017
NEW YORK and LAS VEGAS, Jan. 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Genvid Technologies, Inc. (Headquarters: New York, henceforth "Genvid") has launched a new live demo, running on the floor of Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, January 5-8, 2017.
Visitors to Genvid's CES booth (#51849) will be able to interact with the brand new demo showcasing the Genvid SDK and using the game Unreal Tournament Pre-Alpha Season. The demo, using live matches and broadcast to YouTube, allows viewers to click on the video itself to directly interact with the game that they are watching.
"Until today, Genvid's technology was only accessible behind closed doors," says Genvid CEO Jacob Navok. "No one has done what we're doing-- letting people click a YouTube live-stream and directly interact with the game, dramatically enhancing their viewing experience. For example, our Viewer X-ray mode lets every viewer decide if they want to track players in real-time over the stream. This is only the beginning, and we're letting the public touch these interactive live-streams for the first time at CES."
The Genvid SDK makes any multiplayer game more compelling to watch on popular live-stream services. Genvid is already working with popular eSports and VR developers to power streaming content surpassing anything seen before. With these tools, casual viewers and hardcore fans alike will be able to enjoy the unique story of each match, following their favorite players and discovering new ones. Players will also feel the benefits of increased audience engagement.
More information will be announced soon about the launch of the Genvid SDK for game developers.
