Genpact Founder, Pramod Bhasin Joins the Global Knowledge Board
CARY, N.C., Dec. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Knowledge, the global leader in technology skills solutions, is pleased to announce that Pramod Bhasin, founder and former CEO and president of Genpact, India's largest BPM outsourcing company, has joined its board of directors.

Pramod's career spans a professional and entrepreneurial journey in financial services and business process management around the globe. He built Genpact, a global leader in business process management in 1997, and was its president and CEO until 2011. The company listed on the NYSE in 2007 and remains the industry leader with over 75,000 employees and operates in 17 countries.
As the pioneer of the BPM industry in India, Pramod's leadership at Genpact also built the industry in China, Eastern Europe and Latin America, earning him the accolade of Dataquest's "IT Person of the Year" in 2010.
Prior to Genpact, his 25 year career with GE spanned the US, UK and Asia. He served as CEO of GE Capital, India and Asia, having previously worked with GE Capital in Stamford, CT in the Leveraged Buy Out group.
In September 2016, Pramod, along with partners, acquired the businesses of GE Capital, India, now known as Clix Capital. He is currently chairman of Clix Capital, a broad-based financial services business focused on providing digital platforms and financial services to companies and consumers across India.
Pramod is the co-founder of Asha Impact, a virtual fund focused on social impact investments and advocacy and he remains an active investor in start-ups and established businesses. He also co-founded the Skills Academy that provides vocational skills training to disadvantaged young people in India. The Skills Academy has trained over 50,000 students and placed the majority in employment.
