GenNx360 Capital Partners Announces Rick Brawn As Newest Operating Partner

NEW YORK, March 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- GenNx360 Capital Partners (GenNx360), a middle market private equity firm, has hired Rick Brawn to join its team as an Operating Partner effective immediately.  Rick is a results-driven executive with extensive international business leadership experience at prestigious global industrial power and aerospace OEM's who brings more than 25 years of extensive global industry experience in methods of world class manufacturing and lean production/assembly. Rick will focus on driving strong performance, operational efficiencies and profitability across the GenNx360 portfolio companies in addition to working with its deal team to identify and evaluate new opportunities. Rick reports to Chuck Castine, Senior Operating Partner of GenNx360.

Prior to joining GenNx360, Rick served as the Managing Director of Weir Services Europe based in Scotland, a diverse industrial set of businesses serving the nuclear, conventional and renewable power generation markets and the oil and gas markets. Previously, he worked in senior executive positions at Rolls-Royce based in England where he implemented significant operational performance improvement programs across 12 sites, 5000 employees, £1.2B annual revenue in their aircraft engine maintenance division.  Rick has deep experience in the aerospace sector based on his 17 years at Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corporation, where he led several complex integrations of acquisitions and drove rapid positive change across various businesses in Asia, Europe and the United States.

Rick was the recipient of several awards from United Technologies, including Finalist for the Performance Improvement Team in 1995, Most Successful Alumnus from the Hartford-Springfield Inroads / UTC partnership in 1998, and Achieving Competitive Excellence Gold-- the highest standard for any business in the Group--for an aftermarket services in Singapore in 2005. He was also written in Changing Times magazine in 1991 as one of the most likely graduates to receive multiple job offers.

Rick has a B.Sc. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.  Rick has also participated in extended leadership programs at the University of Virginia, Darden Business School and Oxford University in England as a member of the senior management teams at United Technologies Corporation and Rolls-Royce, respectively.
