Geneva Resources, Inc.: Settlement of Legal Proceedings

CARSON CITY, Nev., May 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Geneva Resources, Inc.'s ("Geneva") (OTC Bulletin Board: GVRS): By news release dated November 10, 2008 the Company announced that it had commenced legal proceedings in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, Canada against each of St. Elias Mines Ltd. and John Brophy, P. Geol. The legal proceedings related to an option to acquire from St. Elias Mines Ltd. a 66% interest in certain exploration concessions in Peru (the "Vilcoro Property") – see news release dated January 25, 2007 announcing the acquisition of the Vilcoro option. The Company, St. Elias Mines and John Brophy agreed to terminate the litigation with no payment of damages by either party and with each party to bear its own costs.

Marcus Johnson, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company said, "We believe that the termination of the litigation is in the best interests of the shareholders and will allow the Company to focus its time and attention to the search for a new exploration or development property."
